Gasquet method
Prenatal yoga that respects your body
A gently therapeutic approach, far from performance: supporting pregnancy and recovery after birth while protecting the pelvic floor and the back. At home or online, in Nice, Monaco and around.
What is the Gasquet method?
Developed by Dr Bernadette de Gasquet, a medical doctor and yoga teacher, it is the French reference for yoga during and after pregnancy. It starts from the real anatomy of an expectant body: what benefits a non-pregnant practitioner can become a strain when you are carrying a child.
I trained at the Institut de Gasquet (prenatal and postnatal yoga, August 2025), and I adapt every session to your trimester, your energy on the day and your history — especially if you already have back or pelvic floor discomfort, or a caesarean scar.

Three principles, in every session
Protect the pelvic floor
Postures designed so you never bear down on the pelvic floor: you learn to tone it and release it consciously — a skill that will serve you for life.
Care for the back
Pregnancy deepens the natural curves of the spine: the Gasquet method adjusts every posture to relieve the lower back rather than strain it, from the very first session.
Breathe for birth
Conscious breathing, matched to each phase of labour: the most precious tool you will take with you to the maternity ward.
During pregnancy
The method supports the body with gentleness and safety: protecting the pelvic floor, strengthening the back and conscious breathing, to prepare the body for birth. A space for you, and for connecting with your baby.
After birth
A gradual practice to ease recovery: retraining the pelvic floor, gently firming the abdominals without locking them, regaining healthy posture and preventing tension. A caring space to look after yourself and your baby — sessions can take place with your baby present.
